Zieta Studio is a multidisciplinary team of architects, designers, engineers and technologists. They design processes, whose outcomes are out-of-ordinary and uncompromising collections of fabulous abstract objects, public sculptures and functional collectable forms that deceive senses with their unusual shapes and qualities. Extensive research and experiments with metals lead them to achieve unpredictable results and uncover forms that are real but out of this world. At Zieta they create objects with the best possible synergy between design and technology. Inflated steel furniture, mirrors and accessories are made with FiDU technology, their original patented method of transforming metal sheets into tridimensional objects. Zieta works with metals such as steel, copper and aluminium that have a long life and can be recycled over and over without losing their key properties. The use of metal is the key. Steel, copper and aluminium are durable, lasting materials with excellent properties so the objects made from them are an investment for more than one generation. “We were eco-friendly before it was cool,” jokes Oskar Zięta, the founder of the studio and its creative heart and mind. “Metal is a very ‘smart’ material that is naturally balanced and very well known to man.
